Safety Study on General Cell Cytotoxicity Effects of Cervi Pantotrichum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CPCHA)

Abstract

|
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate general cell cytotoxicities effects of Cerui Pantotrichurn Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CPCHA).
Methods: In this study we have been carried out to analize the effects of Cervi Pantotrichum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(1-10 ug/ml) on cytotoxicities in primary culture of adult rat hepatocytes using MTT method, LDH enzyme release, membrane transport of ouabain.
Results: The results were obtained a s follows: Hepatotoxicities was not affected by treatment with Cerui Pantotrichurn Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CPCHA) of 5 ug/ml and 10 ug/ml . In primary culture of adult rat hepatocytes, the treatment of Cerui Pantotrichum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CPCHA) did not affect LDH enzyme activity and membrane transport ouabain. In all parameters used in the present studies, CPCHA did not affect these normal functional characteristics.
Conclusion: From the above results, it is suggested that Cerui Pantotrichum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture Solution(CPCHA) did not affect normal functional characteristics.
